The Back To Jerusalem vision is something that thousands of Chinese Christians are willing to die for. It is a passion for the house churches of China. We pray about it daily, dream about it, and talk about it over breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Back to Jerusalem (BTJ) vision is not some small trivial matter for us, but the driving force of our lives and ministries. Many feel it is God’s ultimate call and destiny for the Chinese Church, the very reason they exist!
     BTJ refers to a call from God for the Chinese Church to preach the Gospel and establish fellow-ships of believers in all the countries and ethnic groups between China and Jerusalem. Of the world’s 50 least-Christian and least-evangelised countries, all 50 are located within this region!
     The BTJ movement is not a crazy pipe-dream of a few fanatical Christians that may or may not happen. It is something that is already happening! Right now there are already hundreds of Chinese missionaries working outside China. Thousands more are in training, learning languages such as Arabic and English that will be put to use on the mission field.
     As the BTJ vision unfolds, you may start to hear reports of Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists coming to Christ in places where the Gospel has long struggled to make an impact. When this happens, don’t be amazed at the Chinese Christians, but be amazed at the wisdom and manifest beauty of God’s plan.
     We hope you will be encouraged and challenged by the BTJ vision, and moved to prayer and involvement in the fulfilment of the Great Commission in these last days. A wise man once said: ”If you don’t have anything to die for, you don’t really have anything to live for either”. Thousands of Chinese missionaries are literally willing to suffer and die for the Lord and for His vision. What are you willing to die for?

     The BTJ Foundation was set up in UK as a direct result of an appeal from some Chinese Christian leaders for UK to wake up again to its missions call, and take its role again as one of the spiritual partners with China. The Chinese Church have a deep respect for all that was birthed through Hudson Taylor, and as they prepare to release this major missions movement "Back to Jerusalem", they wish to partner with the West, whilst still recognizing that this is their call and their vision.
     BTJ Foundation UK is a registered charity (Number 1103565) in the United Kingdom. Accordingly, BTJ operates according to UK law. We have a board of respected Christian leaders, and are constantly seeking to network with all the major missions agencies in the UK who are involved in China.      It is important to emphasize that "Back To Jerusalem" is not an organisation but a vision. The BTJ Foundation is only one of many organisations working with and supporting the BTJ vision. 
     In the new book ”Back To Jerusalem”, three Chinese church leaders including Brother Yun (The Heavenly Man), share their heart concerning the BTJ vision from the early history, the present and the future. They say ”It is as though Hudson Taylor handed a flaming torch to the Chinese church and asked us to continue the race towards the finish line”
